Evan Williams Bundle-Black and White
A bottle of Evan Williams’ higher-strength white label at 100 proof. Evan Williams is revered as the first ever commercial distiller in Kentucky (he started in 1783). Today, the whiskey bearing his name is made by Heaven Hill and is the second-biggest bourbon brand in the US.
The extra aged version of Evan Williams’s solid sipping whiskey, one of the biggest sellers in the USA behind the similar looking Old No. 7.
Description
Evan Williams White Label——Evan Williams White Label from the same mash bill as Evan Williams Black Label, but distilled, aged and bottled in accordance with the Bottled-In-Bond rules. It also happens to be a good bourbon. Evan Williams definitely benefits from the higher proof and as with most BiB products, it’s a great value if you’re looking for whiskey that delivers versatility.
Evan Williams Bourbon——The standard issue Evan Williams Bourbon comes with a black label and the “upgraded” bottled-in-bond version comes with a white label. Which is slightly interesting to me because it’s the opposite with Jim Beam whose entry level is the white label and “upgraded” version is the the black label. Though they do now have the Jim Beam Bonded which sports a gold label. Apologies if you don’t find it interesting but I’ve been a marketer for 10+ years so I always find it at least mildly interesting to see how different brands represent their products.
