Following in the footsteps of their Honey and Cinnamon flavored releases, Jack Daniel’s last year released Tennessee Apple. Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple has joined the likes of Jim Beam Apple and Crown Royal Regal Apple as spirit-mixer liaison for your seasonal beverage classics, such as spiked apple cider, or an apple jack.
Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple combines the classic no. 7 recipe with an in-house apple flavored liqueur made from a blend of real apples, clocking in at 35% ABV. Following the success of their other flavored additions, Jack Daniel’s has sought to increase interest among casual whiskey drinkers.
Tasting Notes:
Appearance: Golden mahogany
Nose: There it is, that classic green apple candy blast. Just a touch of vanilla and caramel.
Palate: That green apple dominates the palate as it does the nose. More going on here including some classic Old no. 7 notes of butterscotch, caramel, and vanilla. Finish is brief with a caramel apple sweetness.
