A rare and exclusive blend constructed from the most precious of Johnnie Walker’s vast stocks of long-aged malts. This 1980’s discontinued bottling of Johnnie Walker Premier is blended from some very rare whiskies including now closed malt and grain whisky distilleries.

Like the whiskies from the early years this is a beautiful blend of the finest malt whiskies and the best grain whiskies, all of which have had an exceptionally long ripening period behind them, often in old sherry casks. The heart of this blend is made of Islay malts of supreme quality, with remarkable strength of character and flavor. The tones of wood with the smoky aroma are due to a number of Speyside malts. The result is an extremely zesty, deep smoky whisky with subtle and seductive intensity of dark chocolate and here and there a trace of pepper. Because Johnnie Walker Premier is built up from the rarest and most exclusive whiskies, the supply is very limited. Johnnie Walker Premier was exported mainly to the Far East and is a rare sight on the European Market.
