Description
Originally released for the Asian market, this 12-year-old Macallan single malt will be an exciting find for collectors. In true Macallan form, it was matured exclusively in sherry casks resulting in plenty of decadent dried fruit, dark chocolate, and sweet, oaken spice.
The Macallan 12 Year Old Gran Reserva is one of the richest, darkest, and most delicious 12-Year-Olds to come out of the hugely famous Speyside distillery. The whisky was created to celebrate the expertise and mastery of the distillery and their dedication to maturing their whisky in only the finest Oloroso sherry oak casks available.
Nose: Thick sherry, dark fruits, raisins.
Taste: Plum jam, orange, sweet sherry, chocolate, grapefruit, cashew nuts.
Finish: Medium length, little oak, fruity and spicy end.
