A tribute to a remnant of Scotland’s past that has become folklore, the Highland Shepherd is, as might you have guessed, a Highland single malt Scotch whisky. The liquid was sourced from a single distillery that was matured in bourbon oak casks for at least six years and then bottled it at 46% ABV.
Description
Named after an enduring hero of Scottish folklore, the Highland Shepherd, this is a complex whisky to savour. These tough men wandered the Highlands, tending sheep and cattle, with the heather at their feet, mountains at their side and eagles overhead.
Highland Shepherd is fully matured in Bourbon casks to ensure the fully complex, Highland malt whisky experience.
