A fruity blended malt whisky from Compass Box, made with a combination of some of the fruitiest malts that Scotland has to offer, including whisky from Linkwood and Clynelish distilleries.
Description
A blend of single malt whiskies that showcases a fruit-forward, spirit-driven style of Scotch. With a light oak influence, a gentle honey sweetness comes through from first-fill bourbon barrels. At first you find crisp, bright notes of red apple and pear, followed by shortbread sweetness, honeyed vanilla notes and hints of wild strawberries and Earl Grey tea.
Flavour ：Aromas of apple and pear dominate, with hints of pineapple, lemon and lime zest, and Earl Grey tea. Take a sip and note the malty and gingery flavours. These are soon joined by honey, wild strawberries and vanilla shortbread.
Recommendations ：Vibrant when neat, syrupy when enjoyed on the rocks. Enjoy as a boilermaker alongside a crisp pale ale or pilsner for a delightful pairing.
