Description
Intrigued that whisky and ale have matching profiles, the Master Blender asked a local Scottish brewery to season bourbon casks with their ales. The result: Grant’s Ale Cask Finish. It’s the first blended Scotch to be extra-matured in casks that once held ale, resulting in a smooth, rich and creamy taste.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Clean and fresh, with creamy maltiness. Subtle elderflower and heather.
Palate: Maple syrup, red apples and honey. Hints of oak in the background.
Finish: Long, fresh with bags of fruit notes and hints of citrus.
