Pot distilled and made with 100% malted Finnish rye, this is a robust yet elegant whisky with notes of caramel, freshly baked rye bread, pepper, caraway and vanilla. This is very enjoyable when taken neat, but also really shines in cocktails that traditionally call for American whiskey like the Manhattan and the Whisky Sour.
Description
Kyro Malt is the first Finnish single-batch rye whisky, made from 100% malted Finnish wholegrain rye. The spirit is double pot-distilled and aged in new American white oak casks. On the nose, expect aromas of dried fruits, vanilla, caramel and earthy rye. The palate has a distinctive sweet rye bread flavour, with hints of honey, berries and a peppery finish.
