Aberlour 14 Year Old Double Cask Matured

Description

A 14-year-old single malt from Aberlour, matured in a combination of oloroso sherry casks and first-fill American oak casks. The result is aromas of cloves, cardamom, toffee, milk chocolate and orange zest on the nose, complemented by notes of black cherries, mocha coffee and fresh mint throughout the palate.

Tasting notes:

Colour: Deep amber with honeyed gold
Nose: Well balanced with sweet notes of vanilla and ripe cherry
Palate: Round and smooth, with notes of soft caramel, blackcurrant jam and subtle spice
Finish: Long, sweet and perfectly balanced
