Description
The second release of Highland Park Cask Strength single malt is a bold whisky that has been matured in a combination of European oak sherry casks, ex-bourbon casks and virgin American oak casks. Aromas of almond cake, pears, toasted oak, peat smoke, cracked black pepper and liquorice fill the nose and are echoed throughout the palate.

The nose opens with floral aromas, ripe pear, coconut, and peat smoke, followed by a balance of sweet and spice on the palate. Cooked pear, some nuttiness, honey, as well as hints of licorice and brine. Toasted oak, orchard fruit, black pepper, and aniseed linger on the pleasantly sweet finish.
Nose：Summer rose, ripe pear, fresh coconut, aromatic peat smoke.
Palate：Sweet and spicy with poached pear, almond cake, cloudy honey, salty liquorice.
Finish：Long with black pepper, orchard fruits, and sweet aniseed.
