Jura 10 Year Old is a very nice dram perfect for sipping. It’s a medium body expression with some sweetness on the palate, and a finish that sees some salty brine notes appearing. This is a great one for new whisky drinkers or if you’re after something that’s light and fresh.
Description
A well-balanced entry in the Jura range, made up of both smoky and unpeated whisky matured in bourbon casks and finished in sherry, adding darker notes to the soft smoke and fresh fruit of the distillery’s whisky.
Tasting Notes
Colour: Copper gold
Nose: Vanilla, orange, cracked black pepper, dark chocolate
Taste: Nectarines, ginger, coffee, toasted almonds
Cask Finish: Matured in American White ex bourbon barrels for 10 years and finished in Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez, Spain.
