2024 Year Of The Dragon Truth Malters Lunar Zodiac Series A hand-selected rum cask delivers the golden syrup, subtropical fruit, and spice character of this unique cask strength whisky. Distilled, matured, and bottled in Taiwan. This single cask offering has a total outturn of 143 bottles. Non chill-filtered, natural colour, and bottled at 54% abv. Included in this extravagant packaging is a bonus 50ml sample of a Kavalan Port Cask, also bottled at 54% abv.

The packaging adopts a golden hue, drawing inspiration from the whisky’s color and symbolizing prosperity.

It reflects the sunlight on fertile plains, enhancing the festive mood of the Lunar New Year. Its color is deep, burnished gold like a Caribbean sunset. The flavor is a beautiful combination of honeyed sweetness intertwined with the fruity character of Kavalan, influenced by the rum cask.

Colour: Deep, Burnished Gold like a Caribbean Sunset

Nose: A honeyed sweetness is laced through the fruity character of the Kavalan courtesy of the influence of the rum cask. Alluring aromas of golden syrup cake, waxed lemon, pistachio-studded nougat, creamy vanilla, stewed apple, papaya and faint white pepper are exuded from the glass.

Palate: A gloriously thick texture saturated with melon and papaya sweetness, it is showered with an array of spices, clove, and root ginger delivered at cask strength, before it settles down to a sustained final phase of light toffee, golden sultana, and Kendal mint cake.
