Description
Loch Lomond Original is an exceptionally smooth, full-bodied and easy drinking single malt scotch whisky. Matured in our finest oak casks, this whisky delivers a burst of sweet honey & citrus notes with a gentle hint of smoke on the finish.
Crafted using a combination of spirit from the Straight Neck stills and more traditional Swan Neck Stills, before being aged in three types of American Oak casks – bourbon, refill and re-charred.
Tasting Notes
NOSE: Malty with golden biscuit and a light fruitiness.
TASTE: Opens with sweet honey followed by smooth soft fruits of peach and pear, a delicate orange citrus note and creamy vanilla.
FINISH: Medium finish with a hint of soft smoke.
