Description
A special seasonal release from the Macallan, celebrating Hogmanay – new year in Scotland. Created in collaboration with Chinese artist Nini Sum, it evokes Sum’s early memories of the New Year celebrations. This limited-edition whisky was matured in both ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks, imparting aromas of honeysuckle, fruit cake and toasted coconut on the nose, leading to a more sherried influenced palate.
Tasting Note
Colour：Sunrise gold.
Nose：Toasted oak, creamy steamed rice and coconut milk pudding, citrus fruits, vanilla and oat biscuits.
Palate：lemon and lime with sweet creamy vanilla sponge and toasted coconut.
Finish：Medium with sweet toasted oak vanilla notes and a dusting of spice.
