Description
Part of the Special Releases from Diageo, this is the 2020 bottling Talisker 8 Year Old. This release from Talisker is their first ever to be finished in pot-still Caribbean rum casks. It was bottled at cask strength.
Nose: White wine, sultanas, spices, vanilla with smoke, lemon peel, spices, pear, peach, pineapple, cookie dough.
Taste: Punchy, spicy, fruity, good sweetness, exotic fruits, more sultanas, pineapple, vanilla, pepper, hints of esters.
Finish: Medium long, warm, spicy, zesty.
