The Glenlivet Excellence 12 Year Old is a tribute to Founder George Smith’s original vision, pairing the balanced signature style of The Glenlivet with selective maturation in European Oak casks to create an expression of distinctive richness and complexity.

Tasting note

Nose: Soft fruit flavours, in abundance. Prominent aromas of ripe pears, vanilla, and smooth honeycomb honey. There is also a background presence of orange peel zest with a slight spiciness and finally very delicate hazelnut oak notes.

Palate: This Whisky bursts with fruity vibrancy and strong honey and pear notes. This is allied with rich flavours of dark chocolate, ginger, cinnamon, and the faintest sensation of liquorice root.

Finish: Lingering, vibrant and harmonious.
