The Singleton 15 Glen Ord
The Singleton is actually a threesome of single malts each with a growing family of expressions around a core 12-year-old. First was Singleton of Glen Ord, Diageo’s ‘green grassy’ malt from the Black Isle which was reserved for Asia. Then came two Speysiders – The Singleton of Glendullan (fruity, grassy) for the US and Canada, and The Singleton of Dufftown (nutty, spicy), which was kept just for Europe. Today all three are available globally in a bid to become the world’s number one single malt brand.
Description
Glen Old is one of three distilleries (along with Dufftown and Glendullan) which use The Singleton brand.
A rich, complex and confident Singleton with hints of melon, which reveals itself at its own very elegant pace.
Aroma: A cautious start with soft hints of melon and summer citrus fruit, opening up to reveal firm waxy notes and rich floral aromas
Palate:Gently coating. At first, layers of ripe melon fruit and zesty orange-oil freshness fuse with sultanas and spiced biscuits
Here it is in a limited edition collectible presentation box complete with a beautiful snifter style tasting glass to help you really appreciate the quality of this single malt.
