Description
From the old distillery on Islay comes the sixth release of Bowmore 10 Tempest Batch 6. This annual release is matured in first-fill bourbon casks and presented at cask strength. These often go down a storm, especially with fans of peated whisky.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Barley, Rich Tea biscuits, peach, hint of lime pickle, blackberry and cinnamon.
Palate: Tinned mandarin slices, sweet nougat, vanilla and gentle peat interwoven throughout.
Finish: Lemon, peach and sea salt.
Overall: Fruity, peaty and a bit of a sweet.
