Description
In every corner of the world, the setting of the sun is magical, mused Dr Bill, Glenmorangie Director of Whisky Creation and an inveterate traveller.
This whisky is Dr Bill’s attempt to bottle the magic of sunset, with its endless horizon of reds, oranges and purples.
This is the 12 year old, Sherry cask finished expression from Glenmorangie, dubbed The Lasanta. It first matures in bourbon casks before being moved over to Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks for a finishing period. Plenty rich and creamy with dark chocolate, dried fruit and fresh honey.
Each time you watch the sunset, you see something different – this is how it is to drink Lasanta.
The perfect serve – Enjoy neat, with a little water or 2-3 large rocks of ice/Highball
Tasting Notes
Nose：Warm spices mix with smooth chocolate-covered raisins, honeycomb and caramel toffee.
Palate：Deliciously sweet sherry flavoured sultanas, orange segments, walnuts and butterscotch combine to create complex warm spices.
Finish：Long and satisfying finish with spiced orange and chocolate covered hazelnuts.
