Description
Blender created Storm Blended Scotch in 2011. Besides, bottler Lombard Brands for its Whisky Shack store on the Isle of Man. The Isle of Man’s Lombard Brands can trace its roots back 300 years, but had only been blending and bottling its own whiskies since the 1970s.
Combining coastal Highland and Speyside malts, the storm blend is designed to reflect ‘salt air influences’ and provide an intense flavour. With slight sweetness and subtle spicing. In addition, this blended malt Scotch whisky from Lombard that received a score of 94 points in Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible 2013.
Launched in 2011, The Storm Blended Scotch is now available in Asia, Europe, Canada, Russia and the UK.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Creamy vanilla, dried apricot and salted caramel.
Palate: Toasted barley, sea salt, pepper and honeyed nuts.
Finish: Sweet spice and pebbles.
