What some of our whisky loving friends have said about Cragganmore 12
Quote 1 “I always have a bottle in the house. Open up the bouquet with a splash of water and it is like the nectar of the gods. Delicious, everything else is second best for me. It is quite humorous to read the wide range of reviews for Cragganmore here. But I suppose if you’re looking for a heavy and peaty Islay, you shouldn’t be drinking this anyway.”
Quote 2 “Despite my relative youth in the world of Scotch, I know I don’t like peat. Though I’m curious but worry about smoky whiskies. That’s why I decided to try a very lightly smoke whisky, and Cragganmore just happened to fit the bill. It has a very balanced flavour, not overly sweet or sickly. The sweetness gives body to the whisky but the spice cuts through it. So it doesn’t get sickly, and the finish is quite long. I don’t profess to be able to taste any particular type of berry or nut, but I can taste that it’s very balanced and drinkable. I’m going to re-order this without a doubt.”
