Description
Glen Deveron 12, from Macduff distillery, this is a single malt you may know as Glen Deveron, but a new range of expressions and new packaging in September 2015 also saw a change of name to The Deveron. This is the 12-year-old.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Light notes of apricot, coconut, toffee, toasted malt, raisins, waxy fruit and a light buttery graham.
Palate: Malt, char, chocolate, dried fruit, minerally and alkaline with light vegetal saline – the best way I can explain it would be salted cucumber water.
Finish: Medium fade of hay, malt, stale dried fruit, waxy candy and light powdered sugar.
