Bunnahabhain Toiteach is Gaelic for “Smoky”, a hint of what’s to come.  That’s right, a heavily peated Bunnahabhain! A great chance to try a smoky malt from a distiller of gentle, fruity Islay whisky.

What some of our whisky enthusiast friends have said about Bunnahabhain Toiteach

Quote 1  “Beautiful balance with a light finish. A good way to introduce someone to Islay whisky, but perfectly enjoyable for the more seasoned whisky-drinker.”

Quote 2  “Just great. The aftertaste is delicious, as is everything else. Not as peaty as Laphroaig and such, but this is what creates such a great balance in my opinion. Just for the moments when you don’t want something as peaty, but still want to enjoy smokiness!”

Quote 3  “As some have said, the peat isn’t overpowering, and as a peat lover, that might be disappointing. But as a scotch lover, it’s ideal. Rather than getting overpowered by smoke, biscuits and cashews come to the front and it finishes dry and satisfying. Stellar job by Ian and company and worth every penny of it’s asking price. Don’t miss out.”
